Shaker TablesIn the world of vibration testing, the words “shaker table” or "vibration table" can have many different meanings. Shaker tables are used to perform various types of testing, from general vibration testing of components to vibration testing of structures or even calibration of dynamic transducers. Shaker tables can be related to any of the following product options:
- Devices for calibrating accelerometers and proximity probes in the field
- General purpose platform vibration shakers
- Horizontal tables, slip tables, head expanders and shaker combinations
- Servo hydraulic and mechanical tables
The Modal Shop offers several Shaker Table products:
9100D Portable Vibration Calibrator – In the industrial sector, condition monitoring sensors must be checked quickly and efficiently. The 9100D Portable Shaker Vibration Calibrator provides a known and repeatable dynamic excitation level to calibrate the sensors.

Horizontal Table and Shaker - Supports heavier loads not suitable to be attached directly to a shaker. The system is flexure based, as opposed to oil slip tables, allowing it to be used both vertically and horizontally. A 6 x 7.5 inch platform with mounting inserts enables versatile operation. The Horizontal Table can be used with the 2075E and 2110E shakers.

2075E Vibration Shaker – The most versatile option for shaker table testing. This compact, portable shaker can produce up to 75 lbf, making it suitable for a wide range of applications. The 2075E provides a 3 1/4 inch diameter platform table with (5) 10-32 inserts, making it easy to attach test objects. An optional head expander is available and quadruples the useable testing area.

2110E Vibration Shaker – Offers the same advantages of the 2075E with an increased force rating. A field coil driver allows the 2110E to reach up to 110 lbf for vibration testing applications with the same small footprint as the 2075E shaker. The 2110E provides a 3 1/4 inch diameter platform table with (5) 10-32 inserts, making it easy to attach test objects. An optional head expander is available and quadruples the useable testing area.

Head Expander - Can increase the mounting footprint for vibration shaker testing. A broader surface allows shaker users to test objects larger than those that can be directly attached to the shaker platform. The lightweight magnesium design offers high strength-to-weight ratios. The Head Expander weighs 2.3 lbs, has a 7 inch diameter and can be used with 2075E and 2110E shakers.

SmartShaker™ – A proven option for testing small, lightweight objects. The SmartShaker, with integrated power amplifier, provides up to 7 lbf (31 N) pk sine force. It can also be used to test self supported objects by connecting the shaker and object with a stinger.
