CompactDAQ is a small, modular DAQ system capable of analog I/O, digital I/O, counter/timer operations, industrial bus communication, and sensor and electrical measurements. A CompactDAQ system consists of a chassis and C Series I/O modules.
A variety of National Instruments C Series hardware is offered to expand existing channel counts using your own software or for use with software such as m+p international's SmartOfice or Vibrant Technology's ME'scope.
C Series Systems provide an effective combination of channel count, resolution, and speed designed to meet the needs of all types of voltage measurement applications. Select a chassis if required, and select from popular modules used for ICP accelerometers and microphones and more as well as traditional strain gages.
USB chassis are designed for one to fourteen C Series I/O modules. The chassis can measure a broad range of analog and digital I/O signals and sensors over a Hi-Speed USB 2.0 interface, USB 3.0 on the cDAQ-9179.

C Series high-speed strain and bridge measurement module NI Part 779521-01. This module uses a high-density 10-pin RJ50 connector for each channel. The RJ50 connector is similar to the RJ45 connectors found on network cables except that it uses one more pair of signal wires for a total of 10. Using a network cable with the NI 9237 is not recommended because it could damage the extra pins on the module connector.

NI Part 196809-01. Used with NI-9237 card. The NI-9949 is a female RJ50 to 10-pin screw terminal adapter. It is strictly a connectivity accessory and does not contain bridge completion. Half- and full-bridge completion is provided by the NI-9237 simultaneous bridge C Series module. The NI-9949 kit contains four adapters, one for each channel on the NI-9237. This kit provides the easiest connectivity for the NI-9237.

The NI‑9216 is a resistance temperature detector (RTD) input module. You can configure the NI‑9216 for two sample rate modes: high sample rate or high resolution. The NI‑9216 is compatible with 3‑ and 4‑wire RTD measurements, and it automatically detects the type of RTD (3-‑or 4‑wire) connected to the channel and configures each channel for the appropriate mode. The module provides per channel current excitation. ±60 V, 50 kS/s/ch, 24-Bit, Simultaneous Input, 4-Channel C Series Voltage Module—The NI 9229 performs differential analog input. The NI 9229 is an effective general-purpose analog module because of its resolution, sample rate, and input range. With channel to channel isolation, your entire system, including the device under test, is protected from harmful voltage spikes up to the isolation rating. In addition to safety, isolation eliminates measurement errors caused by ground loops because the front end of the module is floating.
8-Channel 200 kS/s ±20 mA Current Input Module.
Card intended for high-performance control and monitoring applications. It features programmable input ranges and variable connectivity options. To protect against signal transients, the NI 9203 includes a channel to earth ground double isolation barrier (250 Vrms isolation) for safety and noise immunity.
